SRD Grant Eligibility Self-Check
Answer five quick questions to see whether it is worth applying for the SRD R370 grant. The rules are set by SASSA and can change, so treat the result as a first pointer and confirm on the Official SRD website.
Bursary Application Readiness Checklist
Tick each item as you complete it. Your progress is saved only in this browser so you can come back later. Most sponsors expect every item before the closing date.

How These Tools Work And Their Limits
The eligibility self-check follows the broad public criteria for the SRD grant: age, status, other support and documents. It cannot see your bank records, income checks or database matches, which SASSA performs during verification. A positive result does not guarantee approval, and a negative result does not always mean you will be declined, because rules are reviewed regularly.
The bursary checklist is a planning aid. Every sponsor sets its own requirements, so always read the official advert. If you are unsure about a step, use our Bursary application guide or the SRD application guide, then confirm with the official channel.
We built these tools to save time, not to collect data. We do not ask for your ID number, cellphone number or banking details anywhere on this website, and you should never type them into a site that is not the official service.
