About ZA Grants & Bursaries Hub

Who we are, what we publish and how we keep South African grant and bursary guides accurate, safe and free to use.

Who We Are

We are an independent editorial team that explains South African social grants and bursaries in plain language. Millions of people search for SASSA status checks, payment dates and study funding every month, and most of them want one thing: a clear answer they can trust.

We are not SASSA, NSFAS or any government body. We do not process applications, we do not hold your data and we cannot change the outcome of your grant or bursary.

What We Publish

Our guides cover SRD status checks, payment dates, appeals, banking and cellphone changes, the main SASSA grants, and bursaries for university and college students. Each guide includes step-by-step instructions, document checklists, frequently asked questions and infographics.

We link to official channels so that you can act safely, and we explain the terms you will meet along the way.

Our Promise To Readers

We promise to keep our guides free, to avoid asking for personal information, and to say clearly when something is uncertain. We do not sell fast-track services and we warn readers about scams.

If official rules change we aim to update our pages quickly. Always compare any date, amount or rule with the official source before you rely on it.

How The Site Is Funded

The site is supported by advertising and affiliate partnerships where they are clearly marked. Funding never decides what we recommend, and we never accept payment in exchange for a favourable mention of a grant or a bursary.

Languages And Accessibility

Our guides are currently in English with simple wording so that they are easy to translate and read aloud. We design pages to work on low-end phones, small screens and slow connections, because many readers rely on mobile data.

Contact The Team

Questions, corrections and partnership requests are welcome through our contact page. We cannot give personal advice about individual grant cases, but we will point you to the right official channel.

Disclaimer: Independent information website. We are not SASSA, NSFAS or any government body, and we never ask for your ID number, PIN or banking details. Always confirm final decisions on official channels.
